Yet, an unexpected encounter with police officer Da-wei changes everything. A silver-gray thread appears between them—unlike anything he’s seen. To hold on to this rare connection, Chia-kai takes a part-time administrative job at the police station to stay close to Da-wei. He uses his ability to help with investigations, finding people and lost items, carving out a sense of purpose. As their relationship deepens, the silver thread shifts to yellow, symbolizing friendship, then pink—the color of love. Emotional threads never lie.
